As a native New Yorker growing up in the shadows of New York City, I’ve always been drawn to the Big Apple’s influence on creativity.
An avid fan of the visual arts, with a passion for photography, I engaged myself in all the city had to offer, but my career path originally took me down the road of Corporate America, muting my dreams of pursuing a career as a professional photographer. Unsatisfied with cubicle-life, I shed my corporate cocoon and traded in my calculator for a camera to pursue my passion full time.
I’ve always been moved and inspired by images in magazines and billboards. As a photographer, my goal is to create images that inspire the imagination of others. I see myself as a communicator, a messenger. My job is not to take a photo but to capture a moment, convey a message, and speak to the viewer in an emotional way. Each click of the shutter is a dream come true.
I have a strong passion for portrait photography, head shots, fashion photography and news photography. I’ve shot on assignment for several major news publications and agencies, and have traveled as far as SE Asia. When I’m not taking pictures I’m usually exploring New York City, traveling, or out surfing.
